We are a privately held 4th generation family transportation asset services and investments company with roots dating back to 1928. We are leaders in providing customer focused rail and vehicle transportation equipment solutions including asset leasing, fleet administration management, asset repair and maintenance, and innovative technology services throughout North America, Australia, and Europe. We are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist who has a solid knowledge of accounting (payroll and general ledger) and can understand the business needs of the organization and translate those needs to ensure the organization benefits from strategic human resource services and standardized practices. This will appeal to you if you are a person of action and highly skilled in using both your people and management skills.

We Expect

  1.   2. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years generalist experience along with leadership, managerial and people skills.  You must be number oriented and have excellent project skills, current knowledge of benefits, compensation, employment law, EEO, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, Employee Leave and other compliance issues. You need good accounting skills (general ledger) and experience at working with payroll and benefits. You need excellent verbal and written communications and solid knowledge of basic software (Word, Excel and e-mail applications)

  3. A problem solver who is skilled with both people and projects and who loves to take things from concept to completion and do it right.  A motivated, self directed professional with solid business acumen and outstanding bonding skills. A highly organized, detail oriented person who works best in a fast paced environment. Someone with the ability to prioritize and the flexibility to change directions when the situation calls for it. A person who works well under pressure and has the ability to communicate well with people at all levels.
