Our mission is to provide innovation with integrity

cost effective, reliable and environmentally
friendly energy systems. Our San Diego office is
looking for a Senior Energy Engineer who has the
technical expertise to manage projects and provide
excellence in service to our clients and the people
skills to mentor and strengthen our engineering
staff. This position will appeal to you if you are a

We Offer:

A stimulating, highly diversified, fast paced
position that will provide technical assistance
for a variety of programs focusing on energy
efficiency, but also including renewable and
alternative energy systems and combined heat and
power projects. You will be reviewing systems
that are already designed, do field inspections
and provide analysis for our clients in the
energy field. This will include applications and
process improvements in HVAC, refrigeration,
solar, lighting and boilers, and doing system
modeling using established modeling tools,
technical writing and submittal review as
needed. Duties will also include taking charge
of certain projects and providing leadership,
management and mentoring to some of our less
experienced engineers.

We require:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in
Mechanical Engineering 8 years experience with
at least 5 years experience in the energy
savings or a related industry (HVAC,
refrigeration etc.). A related Masters degree
and/or California P.E. license is preferred. You
must have prior experience with utility projects
and be able to relate system design to kW
savings and have a sense of measurement. You
need to have the ability to interpret and
understand mechanical and electrical drawings as
well as equipment nameplate data. Experience
with integrated energy audits is helpful. You
need to have experience with building modeling
simulation software, eQuest preferred. You must
also have excellent communications, computer and
project skills. Previous management would be a
plus. You must have reliable transportation
because this position requires considerable
travel to customer sites.
