We are established (the Corporation is more than
60 years old), growing, profitable and the major
designer, manufacturer and supplier of a
comprehensive line of isolated phase bus,
non-segregated and segregated phase bus duct,
cable bus and bus accessories in the United
States. Located in a near west Chicago suburb,
we are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager with
experience in the power industry who can take
the department to the next level and beyond.
This position is ideal for you if you are a high
energy leader who is adept at working with both
internal and external customers and you want to
grow with a company that is a world leader.

A challenging,
hands-on position where you will have complete
responsibility for non-segregated phase bus
sales. This will include directing the
activities of your sales force (currently 1 but
you will be expected to expand the group shortly
after being hired), working directly with
customers to initiate, follow-up and negotiate
sales, prepare accurate and timely quotes and
prepare all necessary sales reports. You will
also be expected to review market feedback,
analyze statistics and give analysis, represent
the company at trade shows and perform other
duties as necessary to make sure the department
is at world class standards. There is some
travel (currently at less than 25%) including
some International travel.

The ideal
candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree
(preferably an E.E or M.E) and 2 plus years
experience as an industrial salesperson. A
background in the power industry would be highly
preferred as would proven experience in managing
people. You must have excellent skills in doing
quotations and negotiations along with
proficiency at MS Office and excellent written
and verbal communications. Basic knowledge of
contract law is a plus.
