Our established (more
than 50 years), manufacturing concern, located in
the Elgin area, is dedicated to providing excellence
in products and support. We are looking for a
Controller with a solid background in manufacturing,
strong skills in costing and cash management and
experience in implementing new accounting software
to bring our accounting department up to the same
high level as our manufacturing operations. This
position is right for you if you are a hands-on,
pro-active leader who has the vision to see and
utilize how accounting fits in to all parts of a
business and you want to be a major player in a

We Offer

A hands-on, core
management, controller position where you will
lead a team of 4 handling all aspects of
accounting including budgeting, cost accounting
and general ledger. You will work closely with
our president/owner on cost and cash management
and financial strategies to build a world class
accounting department. In addition you will work
closely with our IT person in implementing the
change in our accounting system from Symix to
Siteline.

The ideal
candidate will be a degreed accountant with 10+
years in manufacturing and proven leadership and
management skills. You must have excellent
general ledger, budgeting, negotiating and cost
accounting skills. You must have strong
communication and computer skills and software
conversion experience.
