SENIOR SALES/ACCOUNT MANAGER

If so, let’s talk.  We are an established, fast growing organization based in the UK with the U.S. headquarters in a near northwest suburb of Chicago. We provide the leading fluid flow software package, designed for the engineers desktop PC. We are looking for someone who has the ability develop and nurture long-term relationships, building the internal business. This position will appeal to you if you are a professional who loves working with people, have a technical interest and you want the chance to be recognized and paid handsomely as the #1 account manager with a company about to take things to the next level and beyond.

By interviewing clients well you will work to solve their problems and, in doing so, hear needs and opportunities.  Travel of 2-3 days every 2 weeks.

We require:

  1. A person who aligns with our vision, mission and values.  Key values we subscribe to include an entrepreneurial spirit (including being able to thrive in an unstructured environment), having a creative and open mind (including conceptual and critical thinking skills), high drive and a willingness to do whatever is necessary (within ethical limits) to achieve results, being growth oriented, a willingness to assume responsibility and accept accountability and total honesty.

  2. A history of proven results in account management (conceptual and/or consultative selling experience a plus) along with exceptional interviewing skills and a marketing mind (able to see and seize opportunities). You must have a professional presence both in person and on the phone, outstanding communications, solid computer skills and a strong technical interest. Pluses would include as many of these as possible: experience in air craft or gas turbine engines, compressible gas, power generation, understanding of software programs (especially how they link together), ability to read a blueprint and/or an engineering background or degree.

  3. A driven, competitive achiever who is assertive, persuasive and credible with people at all levels. An intelligent, creative problem solver who knows how to listen for opportunities. A self reliant team player who listens objectively, cares about the client’s needs and is determined to get things done. Someone with the right self image to work and bond with people. A diligent, high energy concept to completion person who can visualize outcomes.
